Intro to the Wheel
In this introductory wheel throwing class, students will build on their skills to bowls, mugs, vases, and lidded vessels. Students will work on surface design while learning to incorporate hand-built embellishment into work. Students will also learn proper glazing. *Payment plans available

Intro to Sculpture
Students will learn to create figurative sculptures from a clothed model. The first two classes will focus on a series of gestural quick clay sketches while we will discuss anatomy and proportion. The remainder of the course we will focus on a long pose where students can either sculpt a full or cropped section of the figure.
